The newest version of Apple’s iOS will be available for download today, CEO Tim Cook revealed at today’s Spring Forward keynote event. With it will come the debut of the Apple Watch app, along with the first round of Apple Watch-compatible apps.

Cook offered a quick preview of how you’ll be able to use the app to connect with the Apple Watch and rearrange the home screen — similar to the basic functionality you’ll find with other iOS-compatible wearables, like Pebble.

Worth noting is the fact that the Apple Watch app is non-deletable. Whether you’re planning on buying in with Apple’s new wearable or not, you’ll find the control app on your device’s homescreen as soon as you download the new iOS. From there, you’re more or less stuck with it.

iOS 8.2 is a 443 MB download that also includes improvements for the Health app, along with the usual bug fixes and stability tweaks.
