Throwing a little nostalgia in the waters, Netflix has enough “Jaws” movies to keep you terrified until next summer’s beach season. For kid-friendly chomp there’s “The Adventures of Sharkboy & Lavagirl” — or you could harpoon both those ideas and binge on the next season of “Arrow” (yes, we’re pretty happy with that one).
Meanwhile Presto is dropping a load of titles in May. You can prep for “X-Men: Apocalypse” with three films from the Marvel film franchise, man up and watch both (count ’em, both) “Mulan” movies, or just lean in to your ever-dwindling grip on reality with a double header of “Fight Club” and “The Truman Show.”
Finally, Stan is launching its heavily-anticipated original series “Wolf Creek.” A spin-off of the film of the same name, the TV series is more revenge thriller than all-out slasher fest (but expect some good blood and scares) and a great example of what a streaming original can offer when it’s made in Australia.
