What’s new on Australian streaming services in December

December has the usual mix of Christmas-related titles to keep the kids entertained, but our pick is Netflix’s “A Very Murray Christmas.” The Bill Murray-led musical comedy is a Netflix Original and packs George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock and Miley Cyrus around the same Christmas dinner table, which can only be a recipe for shenanigans.

Speaking of Amy Poehler, “Parks and Recreation” Season 6 has dropped, while “Brave” continues the feisty lady theme for kids. For a little gravity, Presto is also airing “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief” — the critically-acclaimed and Emmy Award-winning doco shedding light on the divisive church.

“Home and Away: An Eye for an Eye” also spins off from the long-running free-to-air TV series and sees the Braxton family make their way from Summer Bay to Presto. And if you like your realism with a bit more sparkle, check out the life story of Liberace, “Behind the Candelabra,” on Stan.
