How to prevent Facebook’s ‘On This Day’ feature from ruining your day

Earlier this week, TechCrunch pointed out an important update Facebook made to its On This Day reminder feature. For the unfamiliar, every day Facebook will show you pictures and status updates you posted on that day’s date in prior years.

There are times when the reminder of what you were doing one, two, or three years ago to the day can be fun, if not heartwarming.

Then there are the posts you’d soon rather forget that Facebook seemed to always cold-heartedly throw in your face.
