How to beta test Medium for Android

Medium is a website that lets users read and share their thoughts on nearly any topic. The rules for writing on the site are brief, and the guidelines for content are fair. With an iOS app publicly available, it’s no surprise that the company is now working on an Android version.

As AndroidCentral points out, the app is only in the beta-testing stage, but by following a few steps, you can test it out for yourself. Here’s how:

  • Open the Google+ Community page for the Medium Android Beta.
  • Click the Ask to Join button in the top right-hand corner.
  • Once approved, you will need to visit the Become a Tester link to download the app.
  • Download the Medium beta app to your device through Google Play. The app may take a few minutes (or hours) to become available for download.

Once you’ve had a chance to use the app, you can leave feedback for the developers on the Medium Android Beta Google+ Community page.
