In “The Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey” trailer, we see a glimpse of some of the behind-the-scenes moments during filming, including the first table read that brought everyone together.

We see the original “Star Wars” actors like Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels, with the new cast members such as Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Gwendoline Christie and Adam Driver, sitting side by side, reading the script aloud as a group for the first time.

The documentary not only shows never-before-seen footage of the actors on the set, but also some rather personal interview from the actors themselves.

“The feeling came over me that hasn’t happened since Tunisia on the first one,” Hamill said in the documentary comparing his first day filming “The Force Awakens” to that of “Star Wars: A New Hope.”

“I just remember thinking, we are about to shoot this thing, and I’m not ready,” Ridley revealed in the documentary trailer.

The new documentary also shows director J.J. Abrams excited to be part of the same movie franchise that inspired him as a child, which makes this feel like more than just a typical look at filmmaking.

The trailer for the documentary is full of “Star Wars” fan-favorite moments, including Ford as Han Solo yelling, “Ben!”

“This is serious stuff,” Ford said in the trailer. “And we wanted it to be right.”
