We’ve got version 4 of Nuance Communications’ speech recognition software Dragon Dictate for Mac. This version promises better accuracy than its predecessors, and also transcribes text from prerecorded, single-speaker audio files in a number of formats, including MP3, MP4 and WAV. This could prove especially useful for students and teaching assistants wanting to transcribe lectures, or field workers needing to transcribe interviews.

Normally, version 4 of Dragon Dictate for Mac would run you $199.99, but this copy’s going for free. How do you go about winning it? There are a few rules, so please read carefully.
