Well, just one day to go and the evidence for an iPhone 4S is mounting. Earlier we brought you spy shots from a factory in Brazil that could well be the 4S, and now Vodafone Germany has made a major boo-boo by accidentally listing it on its website.
The actual iPhone 4S isn’t for sale, reports Pocketnow, but the carrier is listing it as compatible with bumpers for the iPhone 4. No specs are given apart from storage, and the big news is the iPhone 4S looks like it’ll go up to 64GB for the first time for an Apple handset. That matches the iPad 2 for storage, and is sure to make many Apple fans very happy indeed.
There’s no 8GB version, as rumoured, though according to the site the regular iPhone 4 will come in an 8GB variety, which would make sense for a budget offering. The 4S will also come in white and black from launch, according to the site, just like the iPad 2.
The iPhone 4S is looking a dead cert by now, judging from all the leaks so close to launch day. It looks to have the same body as the iPhone 4, with slightly improved insides and some other minor tweaks, just like the 3GS was from the iPhone 3G. What’s looking less likely is the iPhone 5, unless Apple is just keeping it a much better guarded secret. Which, given its track record of keeping schtum, could well be the case.
