Where to follow Samsung’s Galaxy and Ativ event on CNET

Samsung’s busting out a supertanker-load of new kit tonight at a spangly event here in London town and as always CNET has you fully and comprehensively covered.

We’ll be liveblogging festivities right here from 6.45pm, where you’ll also find an embedded stream of the event for your viewing pleasure.

Samsung is calling this its Galaxy & Ativ event, meaning we’ll be seeing new Android and Windows devices. We know about the rugged Galaxy S4 Active, the Galaxy S4 Zoom camera phone and the Galaxy S4 Mini, a smaller, cheaper, less powerful S4. The budget Galaxy Ace 3 might be there too, and new tablets such as the new 8- and 10-inch Galaxy Tab 3 could well be on show. All those have been announced, but we’re yet to see them in the polycarbonate flesh.

As for Windows, we’re expecting new touchscreen Windows 8 laptops, but probably not an Ativ Windows Phone. You never know though — the Korean company could have some surprises up its sleeve.

Follow our liveblog for news and photos of the action from Earl’s Court as it happens, and keep an eye on CNET.com for our hands-on first takes and videos soon afterwards. It all kicks off at 7pm UK time, but we’ll be setting up and giving you some top-notch pre-show chat 15 minutes before.

What would you like to see from Samsung tonight? What do you think of the new stuff it’s already announced? Let me know down in the comments, or our on-the-spot Facebook page.
