Today’s chatter comes courtesy of a leaked deck of presentation slides obtained by GSM Arena. Centering largely around the hardware details, the leak all but confirms what we’ve been hearing about one of the most powerful handsets to date.
As we’ve come to expect over the last couple of weeks, the G3 figures to include a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) display. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor, we should also expect 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Over on the camera front, the LG G3 should employ a 13-megapixel rear shooter with optical image stabilization. The front-facing camera, for its part, is shown as being 2.1 megapixels.

Rounding out the specifications are a removable 3,000mAh battery, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and support for LTE and LTE-Advanced connectivity. Also confirmed in the leaked slides are the colors options; be on the lookout for metallic black, silk white, and gold.
If there are any secrets left to the Android 4.4 KitKat powered G3 experience it will come in the software. LG traditionally uses their big smartphone release to introduce new user interface touches. As much as heavy users might enjoy the hardware performance, LG will want to show average users what can be done with all of that horsepower.
The puzzle comes together on May 27 when LG is formally announces the G3.
