A new feature has been added to Google Now that will let you see which hours a business has the most traffic.

This information is really helpful if you’re trying to plan a dinner and movie, or just want to be able to find some help at a retail store.

The feature, called Popular times, doesn’t appear in Google Maps (yet?), but is easy to access from Google Now.

Here’s how to access it:

• Search for the name of a business, like a restaurant or retail store. Adding a city name may expedite your search.
• Tap on the arrow under the business’ information card. If multiple locations appear, tap the name of the business on the left.
• On the information screen, scroll down to Popular times. You can adjust the day through the drop-down menu, or by swiping through the time graph below it.

Whether you enjoy people-watching, or like to shop in peace, you can now figure out the perfect time to head to a business with the Popular times feature.
