The best, most amazing (only?) cheerleader comedy “Bring it On” joins HBO’s online catalog this month. It has one of the catchiest opens in movie history. I dare you to watch the intro more than once. The cheer will flow through you even if you think you are devoid of cheer and your spirit fingers will be awakened.

If that’s not for you, try out the second most amazing cheerleader-based comedy, “The Departed.” OK, maybe that’s not the right description, but Martin Scorsese’s “Departed” is a work of art that is not likely to cause spirit fingers.

Sci-fi fans, catch “Contact,” “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Idiocracy” before they disappear at the end of the month. For the full list, take a look below.
