Who will sell BlackBerry’s Z30? Verizon, that’s who

We don’t know when or for how much, but what we do know is that Verizon is the first US carrier to throw support behind BlackBerry’s just-announced Z30 smartphone.

Verizon announced its intentions to sell the 5-inch smartphone on Wednesday in a tweet (also below.)

The Z30 will differ from the BlackBerry Z10 before it in both hardware and software specs.

For instance, the larger Z30 introduces quad-core graphics, stereo speakers, and a larger battery. It will also ship with the new BlackBerry OS 10.2.

Although BlackBerry’s fate as a company is still very much uncertain, it’s business as usual as far as phone releases go.
