Where to watch today’s LG G2 launch on CNET

LG reveals its new Android powerhouse, the G2, today — and you can see the action unfold on our LG G2 launch event live blog on CNET at 4pm.

Update: CNET.com went hands-on with the LG G2 at the launch. Check out their first impressions here.

In perhaps the oddest launch of recent times, LG has dripfed information on the G2 ahead of the glitzy unveiling. It’s effectively leaking its own phone. Will the strategy pay off?

We’re expecting to see the G2 boast a quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. But what else will the new LG flagship have up its sleeve? You’ll have to follow our coverage to find out.

LG’s launch event takes place today at the Lincoln Center in New York, at 11am local time or a bleary-eyed 8am on the west coast. The live blog kicks off half an hour before, as we invite your thoughts on the G2 and its smart phone rivals.

We’re reporting from the announcement with an up-to-the-minute live blog, entertaining insight, and glorious pictures — not to mention a hands-on video showing off the G2 and its features.

What can LG do to challenge its rivals? Tell me your thoughts in the comments or on our Facebook page.
