You may feel like you’ve already seen and heard a lot about Samsung’s Gear S2. We got some initial broad strokes about the watch — circular design, Tizen operating system — back in the spring when Samsung released details to developers. More recently, Samsung teased it at the end of its Galaxy Note 5 press conference in New York two weeks ago, followed by a release of specs and photos this past Monday.
But now we’re finally set to get a more detailed look at the Gear S2 during a Samsung event at the IFA electronics show in Berlin, Germany. (This event is Samsung’s second of the day, after an earlier one that was more focused on the company’s smart home and .) The event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. local time, which is 6 p.m. UK time, 1 p.m. ET and 10 a.m. PT. It will be broadcast live on YouTube — just watch the embedded player above.
We’ll have updated coverage of the Gear S2 and any other Samsung announcements as soon as they become available.
