Verizon picks up LG G3, G Watch on July 17

Verizon joined a number of US carriers on Thursday in announcing the upcoming availability of the LG G3 smartphone and G Watch . Both devices arrive at retail stores on July 17, but customers can pre-order them online immediately.

The LG G3, which will be offered in Metallic Black and Silk White colors, will sell for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement. Customers who opt for Verizon’s EDGE plan can spread payments out into 20 equal payments of $29.99 which amounts to $599.80.

Boasting a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display, the G3 is as powerful as anything currently on the market. Additional specs include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB RAM, a 13-megapixel camera, and 32GB of internal storage.

Keeping pace with other carriers and retailers, Verizon is selling the LG G Watch for $229.99. Customers interested in buying the Android Wear device can order one online today with in-store availability starting at July 17.
