Verizon launches sign

The HTC One could be one step closer to reaching Verizon subscribers.

The carrier now has a page where potential buyers can sign up to get the latest information about HTC’s flagship phone. The page doesn’t indicate an exact date of when the phone will be available — only that it will be available “later this summer,” which is consistent with reports in early June. Assuming that promise still holds, the phone would have to appear in Verizon’s lineup sometime within the next few weeks.

Verizon’s competitors — namely AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile — have offered the HTC One since April.
