Available online starting Thursday, February 26, the Galaxy Core Prime is designed with first time users in mind. Powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, it has a 4.5-inch display and 5-megapixel rear camera.
Under the hood, there’s a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 8GB storage and a 2,000mAh battery, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, a microSD expansion card slot, and support for Verizon’s Advanced Calling 1.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Core Prime will retail for $29.99 with a two-year service commitment or $8 per month on Verizon Edge. The handset will also be available via Verizon stores beginning March 5.
