Starting Tuesday, regional carrier U.S. Cellular drops the fee it will charge you for each device on its Shared Connect data plans.

The new fees are $10 per-phone charge on plans that are 10GB or higher, and $20 to connect a device to plans that provide 8GB or lower.

U.S. Cellular takes aim at two Goliaths, Verizon and AT&T, by citing that a family of four gets 10GB of data for $140 per month, $20 less than the larger rivals.

In addition, U.S. Cellular has also begun following in T-Mobile’s footsteps by offering to foot the bill on early termination fees when customers switch from other carriers before their contracts are up.
