Telstra now selling white HTC One XL

Tempted by a Telstra HTC One XL, but think the grey handset looks drab? We’ve just received word that a new white One XL model has hit Telstra stores.

OK, this isn’t news of the “stop the presses” variety, but it is an interesting play by both Telstra and HTC to remind us all of the One XL in the face of some stiff new 4G competition.

The One XL was first launched back in June, and has been the poster child for Telstra 4G ever since. With the new iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 4G hitting stores, not to mention the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC Windows Phone 8X arriving in a month, it will be interesting to see how long the One XL can maintain pole position in Telstra’s retail spaces.
