Will Apple outfit the next iPhone with a curved display? One source says yes.
The iPhone 6 will incorporate a curved glass display that will stay flush against the phone’s new rounded corners, a new report from Macotakara claims.
As described by MacRumors, the iPhone’s more rounded body would resemble the design used in the Squair Curvaceous Bumper, which envelopes the phone in a rounded case. Other reports have claimed that Apple will outfit the next iPhone with more rounded corners.

The curved display purportedly headed for the iPhone 6 would likely not be as curved as the ones used in the Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex phones. Apple is not one to jump on the curved display bandwagon without a good reason. But if the rounded corner rumor is true, then it’s possible the display itself might need to curve at the edges to fit properly.
Amid the flurry of rumors about the iPhone 6, Apple is expected to increase the screen size on the iPhone 6 from the current 4-inch display. Several recent reports claims that Apple will release two new iPhones this year — one with a 4.7-inch screen, the other with a phablet-sized 5.5-inch screen.
