Pebble on Thursday updated the Android version of its Pebble Time app to include more granular controls over notifications. The update is available to download right now on the Play Store. Naturally, the feature works with the Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel currently, along with the Pebble Time Round once it’s available in early November.

Last month the company added the ability to control notifications on the watch itself through a feature called Quiet Time, but the 3.6 update adds the ability to silence app notifications based off two criteria: weekday and weekend.

After updating to the latest version of the Android app, open it and tap on the Notifications tab. A list of apps will populate, each with an on-off switch next to it. Tap on the three-dot icon just to the right of the switch, and then select if you’d like to silence the respective app during the week, or only on the weekend.

The weekend aspect is brilliant, as most of us have an app or three we receive work-related alerts from. By preventing those alerts from making it to your wrist over the weekend — automatically — Pebble is doing its part to help us all relax a little.
