Sprint is preparing to strike out with 4G LTE, and when it does, the LG Viper will be ready to receive it.
Today the carrier announced that the Viper, which we first met at CES, will be available for preorder on April 12 for $99.99 after a new, two-year contract and a $50 mail-in rebate. It will be ready for pickup “later this month.”
The Viper is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone with Sprint ID, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash, and a VGA front-facing camera. It also supports NFC. In addition, Sprint is also lauding the phone’s eco-friendly features.
