LG Mach an LTE slider

Sprint Nextel expanded its lineup of 4G LTE devices, nabbing the LG Optimus G quad-core smartphone, the LG Mach QWERTY slider, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet, and a 4G USB stick.
Apart from the previously announced LG Optimus G, Sprint announced the new devices at the MobileCon wireless trade show today. No pricing or availability information was available.

The brand-new LG Mach features a full QWERTY keyboard and is expected to be a more affordable device. The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, has a 5-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera, and is less than half an inch thick despite the keyboard.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is Sprint’s first 4G LTE-3G EV-DO tablet. It also runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and features the latest version of TouchWiz.
The final device is a USB stick that can tap into the 4G LTE network, as well as Sprint 3G network and the 4G WiMax network that Sprint previously used, which is run by Clearwire. Sprint said the stick can seamlessly move from one network technology to another without a dropped connection.

The four new devices bring Sprint’s LTE device count up to 13 in all. Sprint has been working to improve its 4G LTE portfolio after committing to the technology a year ago. But the company has been slower than its peers in rolling out its next-generation network, with a little more than a dozen markets connected so far.
