The company on Tuesday posted a video to YouTube showing special shots of a smartphone. Sony didn’t say which handset it is or what the device might offer, but offered some views of its smooth lines, a camera, and its ability to be tossed in water. A description of the smartphone on YouTube says that the handset is both “new” and “extraordinary.”

Rumors have been swirling for months that Sony is at work on a new, flagship smartphone codenamed Honami.
