Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is a 6

Come with me if you want to live… The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is a new Android phablet coming to the UK, along with the new mid-range Xperia E1 also announced today.

The E1 is a mid-range 4-inch Android smart phone with a 233ppi screen, running a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It boasts 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage for movies, music, apps and snaps. It’s not 4G but does connect to the Web via HSPA+.

Meanwhile the T2 Ultra boasts a 6-inch, 720p screen with a quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM underneath. It packs a 13-megapixel main snapper and a front-facing 1.1-megapixel camera for video chatting. There’s 8GB of storage, and the whole thing is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Although it’s been designed specifically for emerging markets in China, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, Sony told CNET today that the T2 Ultra will join the E1 in the UK. Exact prices and release dates are yet to be confirmed.

There’s also a dual-SIM version of the T2 Ultra planned, but we won’t get that here in Blighty.
