Sony’s upcoming “Demand Great” event will feature several products — if newly released videos are any indication.

Sony published nine videos to its Xperia YouTube channel on Monday, showing off everything from the flagship Sony Xperia Z3 to remote play for the PlayStation 4 to the SmartBand Talk wearable fitness tracker.

The Japanese consumer-electronics giant will host a press event in New York on October 9. The “Demand Great” event is rumored to involve the Xperia Z3 and perhaps the smaller Xperia Z3 Compact. Based on the videos uploaded to the YouTube channel, it appears the PlayStation 4 and SmartBand Talk may also play a role at the event.

Sony has been struggling over the last few years, forcing it to focus on just a handful of pillars, including mobile and gaming. The company’s smartphone business has been the chief culprit in its troubles and has contributed most to the company’s admission that it expects to take a loss of $2.1 billion in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2015.

The US has become a vexing market for Sony, which could be a reason that it’s hosting the event in New York next week. T-Mobile has already confirmed it will sell the Xperia Z3, and there are reports that Sprint may also carry the device. Pricing and availability on the Z3 have yet to be divulged.

Sony did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
