Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc
2:08
When we first saw the handsome Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc at CES last January, we knew it was a solid effort–slim and sleek with sharp edges, impressive camera specs, and a Reality Display worth talking about.
Nine months later, the unlocked phone we’ve finally got in our hands still holds our interest. The design is appealing, the screen high-quality, and the custom skin a refreshing change from the usual. The camera, while good, has a few weak points, as do other areas of the Xperia Arc. Unfortunately, the biggest stumbling block for most U.S. users will be the unlocked price, nearly $600.
However, if the Xperia Arc can tell us one thing, it’s to keep an eye out for its successor, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, which will have a faster processor and more entertainment options, on top of its speedier camera startup speeds. In the meantime, check out the pros and cons of the original in our full hands-on review.
