Sony kicks off the official MWC run of press conferences with its event and CNET is on the ground in Barcelona to bring you all the news.

Being held at 8.30am in Barcelona, you can catch our live blog of the conference right here from 6.30pm AEDT time. This year, we’re expecting Sony to reveal some more information about its Core ‘life tracker’ teased at CES, as well as some greater detail on its Smart Wear strategy.
