As images on the official Samsung Tomorrow blog show, the curved phone does indeed feature a number of design cues from the Galaxy Note 3, including the stitched leather-look back and the same size 5.7-inch screen.

Spec-wise, the phone is 151.1×79.6×7.9mm and weighs 154g. It will run Android 4.3 on a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, with 3GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera.

Pricing has been given as 1.89 million won or around AUD$1080.

A video has also been posted (embedded below) showing the Roll Effect feature, allowing users to check display messages when the screen is off by rolling the phone on its curve. It’s not known whether any other applications for the curved shape exist other than the aesthetic appeal.

No details have been released about launches in areas outside of Korea.
