Samsung could be readying a massive, 7-inch Galaxy Mega smartphone, according to new reports. A listing at a Chinese electronics certification company surfaced a device called the Samsung SM-T2558.

The 7-inch handset is alleged to feature a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. With 8GB of internal storage, other details could include a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a MicroSD card slot.
While these specifications are not going to set any benchmark records, they would make for a decent midrange experience. And if last year’s Galaxy Mega line is any indicator, that’s exactly what we should expect from a successor.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega , currently offered in 5.8-inch and 6.3-inch sizes, was introduced roughly a year ago — so we could be be in for a larger, even more unwieldy refresh.
