April 11 (that’s today, as calendar enthusiasts will have noted) sees the Galaxy S5 officially on sale in 150 countries, including the US, UK and Australia. The heart-rate monitoring mobile did however go on sale early in South Korea, when network operator SK Telecom jumped the gun, to Samsung’s dismay.
Now the Galaxy S5 is available on all major US carriers, and retailers like Best Buy, Amazon and Radioshack. In Europe, Samsung has opened a slew of new own-brand shops, including seven in UK cities. As well as all major networks, Brits can also pick up the Galaxy S5 from today from the likes of Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U.
