Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12

You can now get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy NotePro, packing no less than twelve inches and eight cores.

The NotePro, recently unveiled alongside the Galaxy TabPro, has been available to pre-order for the past week, with the first 300 people getting a free gamepad worth £90. The new tablet costs £649.

If you place your order before 4pm today you should receive the NotePro tomorrow.

The NotePro is a 12.2-inch tablet with an S Pen stylus. It comes in black or white, with a 1,600×2,560 screen and octa-core processor packing four 1.9GHz and four 1.3GHz cores.

Apart from the S Pen, it’s the same as the TabPro tablet specs-wise, but the TabPro also comes in a range of sizes, from a pocketable 8.4-inches to an iPad-rivalling 10.1 inches and an oversized 12.2 inches.

Samsung Galaxy NotePro 12

The giant 12-inch Samsung Galaxy NotePro is up for order today, with the Galaxy TabPro on its way to these shores too.

You can pre-order the NotePro from this link from 28 January, and the first 300 people get a free gamepad worth £90. Which is nice; but what Samsung doesn’t yet say is how much the tablet costs or when you can expect it to drop through your letterbox. Update: It costs £649 and is due to be posted on 4 February.

The TabPro comes in a range of sizes, from a pocketable 8.4-inches to an iPad-rivalling 10.1-inches and an oversized 12.2-inches. The NotePro comes in just the one 12.2-inch size. Both new types of Android tablet were revealed for the first time earlier this year at gadget extravaganza CES 2014.

Both 12-inch tablets are essentially the same, except the NotePro comes with an S Pen stylus. Samsung reckons the dinner plate-sized slates come loaded with £420-worth of subscriptions to a range of news services, social media and cloud storage. That includes signing you up to Bloomberg Businessweek+, Blurb, Cisco WebEx Meetings, Dropbox, Evernote, LinkedIn, and the New York Times.
