Like a photographic print slowly revealing itself in the darkroom, the first glimpses of the rumoured Samsung Galaxy K Zoom are appearing online.
Samsung promises “a new mobile product” at a launch event one week from today in Singapore. The launch is teased with the tagline ” Kapture the moment“, hinting at both the photo-focused nature of the device and the K in the name.
The K Zoom cameraphone is rumoured to be a 20-megapixel job with a 10x optical zoom and a xenon flash. That’s an improvement over the 16-megapixel setup in Samsung’s current Galaxy cameraphone with the emphasis on the camera, the Galaxy S4 Zoom . In the leaked snap, the zoom lens and the body of the device appear to be slimmed-down from the S4’s Zoom more bulbous frame.

The leaked snaps come from China courtesy of tieba.baidu.com, showing what appears to be a dimpled case similar to the new Samsung Galaxy S5 , albeit with what looks like a clear case on top.
The K Zoom is also set to sport a 2-megapixel camera for video chat on the front — or is it the back? Depends if you think this is a camera or a phone.
