What to watch? Your wrist could be your new remote, as Samsung hints the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch could control your television.
Samsung boss Ryan Bidan is looking to developers to come up with clever ways to combine the watch with TV-watching, with some new ideas potentially coming at the annual Samsung Developers Conference at the end of this month.
Currently the Gear only works with the latest Galaxy Note devices, but a software update should broaden its reach to other smart phones and tablets.
The Gear is the most prominent in a new generation of wearable gadgets, and it’s full of potential — although so far
even Samsung admits the Gear lacks something. Fingers crossed that changes with the expected Galaxy Gear 2.
