AT&T could offer a waterproof version of the recently introduced Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone, reports SamMobile.

According to the oft-reliable blog, Samsung will release a slightly different version of its new hot handset with a more rugged design. What’s more, the so-called Samsung Galaxy S6 Active could boast a significantly more powerful battery.
Specifications figure to remain largely the same as the flagship model, including the processor, storage, and cameras. Where things may differ are in the overall dimensions; the S6 Active is rumored to be slightly larger all around.
Allegedly, AT&T will be first in line to scoop up the Galaxy S6 Active. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, however, as it was the exclusive provider to support the S4 Active and S5 Active .
Although it’s not immediately clear as to when the Galaxy S6 Active might appear, I suspect that it will debut in the weeks immediately following the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge .
