To be clear, this LTE-ready handset isn’t the brand new, updated Moto G recently introduced by Motorola earlier this month, which lacks LTE.
Powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, the Moto G 4G LTE features a 4.5-inch display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel shooter. Entry-level by today’s standards, the handset packs a quad-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz processor with 1GB RAM.
Cricket will start selling the Moto G 4G LTE on September 19 for $150. But wait, there’s more. In an attempt to lure away T-Mobile and MetroPCS customers with a limited-time promotion, the carrier promises a $100 bill credit if you switch before October. A separate deal sees the carrier offering double its normal data for select rate plans.
