LG Optimus 7 captured on video, priced on Amazon

The LG Optimus 7 is the latest to receive the Windows Phone 7 leak treatment. Thanks to MobileTechWorld we’ve got a pretty lengthy 20-minute walk-through of the Optimus 7, originally called the E900.

Unfortunately it’s in Czech, and none of us have much experience in Eastern European languages, but you can still see the main features of Windows Phone 7, running pretty smoothly, we might add.

We’ve already seen details of the LG Optimus 7 leak around the Web, and we suspect it’ll be LG’s flagship Windows Phone 7 handset at launch. Recent reports indicate it will carry a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and we’re now pretty sure it will have a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and 5-megapixel camera, thanks to this early listing from Amazon in Germany, spotted by Engadget. It’s priced at €499 (£420) unlocked.

It’s not the only LG Windows Phone 7 handset on the way, as we spied the C900, a Qwerty slider phone, last month. Very little detail on the C900 is available, but it has a rounded shape and we suspect it’ll be less powerful than the Optimus 7.

Like its Korean competitors HTC and Samsung, LG has not only gone Windows Phone 7 crazy, but smart phone mad this year. It’s so far relied on simple feature phones such as the LG Town C300 but coming soon are the Optimus One and Chic, entry-level Android phones rather than potential iPhone killers.

LG recently declared, however, it will have Nvidia Tegra 2 power running its high-end future smart phones. With more Android and Windows Phone 7 devices to come, as well as a tablet device, we’re going to be seeing plenty of LG in the next few months. You’ve just seen Windows Phone 7 running on one of its handsets. Impressed?
