The heavily sought-after OnePlus 2 smartphone just got a bit easier to get — but it won’t last long.
Usually, the Chinese-based mobile manufacturer implements an invite-only system for interested buyers to purchase the unlocked device.
But from November 27 to 30, the handset will be available for purchase online without an invitation.
Currently, the OnePlus 2 costs $330 and £239 (roughly AU$450) for the 16GB version, and $390 and £289 (or about AU$535) for the 64GB model.
The device features a sharp 5.5-inch, 1,080-pixel-resolution display and a powerful 1.8GHz Snapdragon 810 processor. It also has a 3,300mAh battery and a 13-megapixel camera. Users can also purchase different back plates, which come in a variety of different materials including bamboo, wood and Kevlar.
