As with the Nexus 4 , Odin has pre-loaded a home screen widget highlighting apps aimed at blind of low-vision users. Talkback, for example, announces an application’s name as the user moves their finger across the icon. Double tapping the device brings up the Google Play Store and a guide to help the app installation process.

Odin offers the 16GB version of the LG Nexus 5 for $359 when paired with one of the unlimited plans. Customers who need a little more help in setup and support may choose the $399 bundle which includes a special instructional kit and one month of troubleshooting and one-on-one guidance. It’s worth noting that Odin’s representatives are also blind and can relate to the caller’s needs.

Odin has also introduced a new, $40 rate plan which offers unlimited talk, text, and data. The caveat being the first 500MB of data are at 4G speeds with any overages being throttled. Odin Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) which piggybacks off of T-Mobile’s network.
