Microsoft’s Windows Phone store is offering the free app, which allows users to snap a photo and then adjust the depth of field — in other words, choose which parts of the image are clear and which segments are out of focus. The application also includes support for “Color Pop,” a feature that allows users to turn on color in one section of the image and turn the rest of it to black-and-white.
Nokia’s Refocus app isn’t available across all Windows Phone handsets. The app will work only on Nokia Lumia PureView handsets, including the Lumia 920, 925, and 928. It’ll also work on the Lumia 1520.
