A tweeted ad for Nokia’s reported Android smartphone seems to confirm that it will be dubbed the Nokia X.
Tweeted by usually reliable leaker @evleaks on Monday, the promo shows the name above a series of images of phones headed directly toward you. The tweet doesn’t reveal anything further, but the promo looks like one Nokia might use to tout the phone.
Photos and details of the Nokia X, codenamed Normandy, have spilled online over the past few weeks, courtesy of @evleaks and other sources. Expected to debut next week at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the phone reportedly will host a a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon processor, a 4-inch WVGA screen, 512MB of memory, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and a 5-megapixel camera.
A leak on the Web site of a Vietnamese online retailer listed the price of the Nokia X as around $110.
