Nokia Lumia 925 comes to O2 in white, Vodafone in black

The Nokia Lumia 925 has just been officially announced in London, and O2 and Vodafone are quickest off the mark to confirm they will sell the new Windows Phone flagship — with a different colour each.

The 925 comes in black, white or grey metal. O2 is the only network to sell the white version when it launches, and Vodafone will exclusively sell the black model.

A UK version of the Lumia 928, which launched this week in the US, the 925 will land in Britain in June. O2 starts taking orders on 30 May, but it’ll actually arrive in your hands and on shop shelves on 13 June.

O2 says the 925 is the first Nokia to be sold without a charger, as part of O2’s green Chargers Out of the Box plan. O2 assumes you already have a micro-USB charger from previous phones, and if you don’t, the network will gladly sell you one.

As well as the usual range of contracts, the 925 will be available on an O2 Refresh deal. Refresh is an interesting new type of contract that separates the phone from your usage, so you pay for your calls, minutes and texts separately from your phone. That way, when you pay off the 925, you can change networks at any time and keep the phone.

Will you be working the 925? Will you opt for O2 or vote for Vodafone? Tell me your thoughts in the comments or on our Facebook page.
