Microsoft’s dual-SIM capable Nokia Lumia 530 will hit stores in Singapore on August 23 for a mere S$159 ($127) — making it one of the more affordable Windows Phone device in the region.

The handset comes with the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update, which includes software features such as Action Center (similar to the Notifications center in Android and iOS).

The Lumia 530 features a quad-core Qualcom Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2GHz, has a 5-megapixel rear camera, and 4GB of onboard storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for expandability.

The phone’s 4-inch display doesn’t have a very high resolution — it’s a FWVGA screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels, but should be sharp enough for its size.

Currently, Microsoft has already launched the Lumia 530 in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, with prices very similar to what it retails for in Singapore. There also plans to launch the phone in China, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Thailand.
