Nokia Atlas might be Verizon’s next WP8 handset

If you’re a Windows Phone 8 fan on Verizon, listen up. A leaked image of what reportedly is a Verizon-branded Nokia Lumia 820 has surfaced.

Called the Atlas, the device appears to be a Nokia Lumia device and is clearly running Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 software. The source of the picture is the Twitter account of tipster evleaks and has since been picked up by numerous tech sites including The Verge.

T-Mobile recently confirmed it plans to sell a version of the Lumia 820 too, renamed the Lumia 810.
