Nike appears set to unveil the next iteration of its FuelBand fitness tracker, and you can get all the details right here.
The company is holding its NikeFuel Forum in Manhattan on Tuesday starting at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET. While details are sparse, you can expect FuelBand talk and likely an update to its proprietary fitness metric, NikeFuel. The CNET team will be on hand to bring you all the live news, photos, and commentary starting about 15 minutes before the event kicks off.

Nike was among the first companies to ride the wave of fitness trackers and certainly has been one of the most high-profile names. The original FuelBand was a success thanks to its winning design and strong integration with Apple’s iOS.

But the company has far more competition this time around, including a strong contender in the FitBit Force, which CNET editor Brian Bennett considers the best option currently in the market.
Even Samsung Electronics has gotten in the mix, with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch also functioning as a fitness tracker.
Aside from new colors, the FuelBand hasn’t gotten a proper refresh in more than a year and a half. Nike is overdue for an update.
