The invitation is light on details, but Nike promises a discussion of the future of the digital world experience and physical activity.
It’s unclear whether the event will feature a new FuelBand, the fitness-monitoring device that Nike has been pushing as part of its FuelBand and Nike+ initiative.

The fitness-tracking segment has heated up with strong competition from the likes of FitBit, which has a number of different products. Samsung’s smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, can serve as a fitness tracker as well.
Even Apple is at it, having introduced its M7 chip in the new iPhone 5S, which essentially makes it an activity tracker too. Nike has been a close ally of Apple’s, so the forum could provide some insight into how Nike views its future with the iPhone.
