What do you get for the phone that has everything? The Google Nexus 5 boasts cutting-edge software, a Full HD screen and quad-core power. But now you can treat your Nexus 5 smart phone or Nexus 7 tablet to a new look with 25 per cent off cases on Google Play.
The quarter-off discount applies to the Nexus 7 Sleeve, Folio and Case, and the Nexus 5 Bumper Case and QuickCover.
The Sleeve is a zip-up Neoprene pouch for the Nexus 7 that comes in yellow, red, grey or black, and has been reduced to £14.99. The Case is a microsuede-lined cover that completely encases your Nexus 7 in black, white or grey, with blue or red lining and accents to show you which is the top of the tablet. It also folds into a stand, and now costs £26.24.
And the Folio is a cover that snaps round the edge of the tablet, leaving the back open. It comes in black or red and also costs £26.24.
A yellow, red, grey or black rubber-lined Bumper Case for the Nexus 5 is now £18.74. Or you can go for the flap-over QuickCover in black or white, for £26.24.
Even after a discount, £26 strikes me as pretty pricey for a phone case, even if it is a bona fide official jobby, but that’s just me. At least the Nexus 5 is affordable enough in the first place that you might have a few safe quid left over.
Other accessories, such as the Nexus Wireless Charger, are still full-price.
