Though the device isn’t due out yet, it’s set for a global launch. Unfortunately, there aren’t any plans in place to bring the Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet to the U.S.

The Wi-Fi enabled device has a 10.1-inch touch screen. Powering the V96 is a 1.7GHz dual-core processor.

When I got my hands on the tablet, I noticed it was quite snappy and the animated wallpaper (which featured mushrooms and butterflies) moved seamlessly.

Above the display is a 2-megapixel camera for vanity shots and Web chatting. The back has a textured feel to it, and located in the middle is a 5-megapixel camera.

Two neat features of the tablet is that it runs on Android’s latest OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s also a quad-band device and can operate on LTE technology.

After getting my hands on the model, I must say it’s a downer that this product won’t be available in the U.S. Its processor is pretty zippy, and it’s always great to see another ICS device.

Pricing and release dates are also unknown at the time, so I suppose all I’m left with of the V96 are the brief sweet memories we shared.
