The handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, which has a 1,280×720-pixel resolution and 267 pixels per inch.

Included within the device is an S Pen stylus that enables you to take full advantage of the large display.

It is also powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core CPU and a 3,100mAh battery. The “phablet” has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.

CNET’s own Jessica Dolcourt had a chance to review an unlocked version of the device and noted that the Galaxy Note 2 is an excellent phone for productivity because of its screen size, impressive battery life, and zippy internal speeds. In addition, it’s updated with the most recent version of Android.

However, some may find its size cumbersome. And when it comes to fully functioning as a tablet replacement, the handset falls short.
